The continuation of the series.

“L.S.” inscribed, so chiseled, done in haste

My mind, perplexed, seeks answers to find

So many Ladies have lived within all these walls

I’ll find out the truth or lose, true, my mind

Perhaps the next night, if I wait, I will see

Crouched then in silence as shadow’s my guide

I hope I can see her and stop her this time

But, I must be careful, so right here I’ll hide

As the moon so rises, through the window, the light

The wall breathes a life, as she steps surely by

Wailing again, with a voice that sends shrills

I cowered there in silence, as my tongue was then tied

I placed my hand to her shoulder, but it went through

With a breeze of a turn, her face had sought me

While air made a gasp from my throat, just so loud

I was scared by the fact, that her face I can’t see

Again crying loudly, this time I heard words

“Denial, betrayal” she wailed and she screeched

I shouted, “what, please tell me oh Lady

I wish much to help you, show me” I beseech thee

As quickly as arrival, she turned, she was gone

I knew that the night held answers, but to seek

I will not give up on this Lady of this castle

Though her spirit is strong, it so finds me weak
