In response to The Diary of A Dying Man. What if someone you love is dying? How will you deal? How will you cope with the thought of losing him anytime? How will you rise from the sorrow of letting go of your future together?

The Diary of His Grieving Girl

(In Response to Diary of a Dying Man)

Dear, I will cry not with you but for us.

I will cry for the future that you and I have yet to have.

I will cry for our children, how we’ll never get to hold them.

I will cry for the pitter-patter of their footsteps.

For their eyes, same color as yours and for their smile, that we’ll never get to see them.

I will cry for their late night tantrums and their morning screams.

And still I will cry for their teenage angst and their first loves.

I will cry for those laughter left unshared and for those memories yet to be made.

I will cry for our dreams because that’s how they will stay.

I will cry not of you dying young but of you dying now.

I will cry for the comfort of your hand in mine.

I will cry not of regret for wasted time because you and I had met.

I will cry not for you but because of you.

But most of all, I will cry, because I love you.
