I have been on a diet for the past few weeks and at last it looks like it is working.

I’ve become such a boring slimmer.
I’m always standing on the scales.
For years I have wobbled
With all that I’ve gobbled,
And I’m a dieter that always fails.
Now to my hubby and folks around me,
Who offer me chocolate, sweets and cakes,
I’ve got to stick to my slimming
‘Cos I’m one of those women,
Who gives up the longer it takes.
So don’t give me biscuits or trifle.
Don’t tempt me with any of that fat.
I’m determined to get thin
And this diet to win
And end up with a stomach that’s flat.
I’ve always felt tired and breathless,
And couldn’t bend down to touch my toes.
Now I’m feeling quite bendy
And my clothes are more trendy,
‘Cos I’m thinner and it actually shows.
So from now on its salad or fish, dear.
No more chips or bacon or steak.
Low fat yogurt’s for me
And I love herbal tea.
This regime I am not going to break.
I’ll go out with my head held high
As my ribs slowly start to appear,
And as my hip bones protrude
I’ll no longer be a prude.
I won’t mind stripping off for you, dear.
Oops! I’m blushing!
