The doorbell chime

The road back is unlit, my faith is pale

U &me was home, my enduring veil

Said you weren’t returning, that hour sensitive

why is a slice of your soul still my captive?

Reincarnating now, are the slain bits of me

Don’t return with your dagger, I’m on my knee

You sucked beats out of my dazing heart..

Always needed you but life can finally restart..

I thought we were sealed by the tarot

It broke me that I could still breathe watching you go,

You were embedded in every nook of my faith

Don’t return with your bloodshed dagger, its late..

Its been rather long, a fading count

Your rainbowed voice filled my days, now no sound..

Seeking yourself, you  gallop back into my deepest fear

And the doorbell of our broken home I hear..
