A poem by Cathleen Kate Edora.
Before the flowers bloom in spring ,
I am a person of a worthless thing .
No thoughts of what life may be,
Wonder what future lies to me.
Until I grow and see the face of life ,
Where trials and burdens bound my way.
To think it was a battle to hide,
But I discover it was a challenge to fight.
I thought I was in chaos world alone ,
Floating in misery and grief of stone.
But when I saw a little ray of light ,
It pours and unleash the storm I have.
Before, I look myself as a broken line,
But this two dots fix to make it fine .
The reason why they were dots for me ,
Is because of their boundless love to be.
The unvanishing love they had for me ,
Can’t be measured of anything I see .
Against all odds they went it through,
To keep the family bond’s in blue .
Can’t find a word to say thank you ,
For all the years of burdens in flame .
Don’t know how to pay their pains in return,
As a sign of love and respect for them .
They were a priceless possession of mine,
And the reason behind my gorgeous smile.
They were the dots beyond myself ,
And the wind beneath my wings.
