The drunkard came home. Would he be violent or would he pass out?
The drunkard came home.
Tension filled the air.
Would he strike?
Would he scream?
Would he pass out?
He unlocked the door.
His breath was awful.
His eyes were a dull red.
The children were anxious.
The wife was alarmed.
The drunkard clenched his fist.
He swung at the air,
And then he passed out on the floor.
The crisis was over
For now.
But what about tomorrow?
