Poem about a violent earthquake.

It was a quiet day;

Peaceful and serene.

The air was fresh.

The sky was blue.

Yes, it was a very calm day.

And then the peace evaporated.

The ground shook!

The calmness disappeared.

It was replaced by panic.

Buildings crumbled,

Streets opened up,

Homes turned into rubble,

From tranquility to

Nightmare in a moment’s notice.

And a young girl cried out,

“Earthquake!”
