Comparing the dew drops to various aspects of this world.

The Enchanting Dew drops

© 2009 Dr.P.Elayaraja

The night, when sheds it darkness blanket

The stars fall to the land

No one has ever thought to see

When and how the dew drops land…

They are sprinkled on the surface of leaves

And adorn the lovely buds and flowers

They are the splashed white pearls of ocean

Giving our earth a pleasant notion

They don’t have the prestige, even sit down on the sands

Their life evaporates, when the sun comes and stands

They form the metaphors of tears

When seen dropping from leave tips

They provide waters for the thirsty sips

This is the saliva drooled from the child’s lips!

nice imagery – though I thought the pictures of kids drooling was slightly gross and funny

That is so lovely. I have never really thought about dewdrops and how they are formed before. I love the pics too.
