With the year 2009 coming to an end, we all shall all once again reflect on the year past and think of tomorrow’s future. A year end poem for all my friends.

All of the yesterdays are gone at last

It’s colours begins to fade away

Traveling through time so long so fast

Face the future come what may.

Many new friendships are forged

Some more old ones were lost

Embrace the good

The bad dislodged.

A wise man said the world is summed up in three days

Yesterday- leave all the baggage behind

Tomorrow- Ponder too much the future and lose the mind

The only time of certainty is today.

The future is now

The past had been lost

The present ticks away

Is it a cycle? Yes it is and yes it was.

Our life is our kingdom

So make haste,

Make haste

With all the preparation.

A new beginning does not take a day

Past civilisations cried and wept

Please don’t wait till the armies of Mordor

Come knocking on your doorstep.

Old bad habits are hard to kill

We experience failure time and time again

But when the attractive becomes so unattractive

Then we know that we have truly changed.

Modest and original poet out here
That now I can really clearly see
The wisdom the thoughts you convey
Are as wide than many a widest sea

Your yesterdays I shall remember
For your love you give today
But I cannot anything of tomorrow say
Life has its own variables to sway.

You are a prolific poet by birth
I am a simple passer by
One who catches words of wisdom?
As they somehow from poets fly by

You are indeed a man of times

Come daily in my life’s lonely way.

Let the New Year shower upon you
Laurels that you may display
I am not in your path in anyway
So don’t let that you dismay

For your lovelier tomorrow
