The exams

You have made it so far,
Yet there is still much to do,
You have put in so much work,
But there is still a way to go.

The exams are nearing,
Day by day,
The stress is building,
Hour by hour.

Only a day or two left,
Revision is urgent,
Left till the last minute,
What grade will you get?

You enter the hall,
Getting out your pens,
You start to write,
Struggling already.

You leave the hall,
Disappointed with yourself,
You walk home,
Knowing you have failed.

If only you had another chance,
A chance to revise,
A chance to re do,
A chance that will never come.

You wasted your time,
You wasted your life,
You wasted your education,
Was it worth it…

No,
So i say to you all,
Revise as much as you can,
The exams are dawning,
Do not end up,
Like me….
