Look at the expression in the eyes,
They speak volumes and tell no lies.
For all the hows, whats and whys,
Are seen in the eye that cries.

When you smile those tears away,
You brighten another’s day.
You give rise to faith and hope,
Which allows you with life to cope.

For what is said with your eyes,
Will never ever tell the world lies.
For they are mirrors of your heart,
Reflecting feelings never to part.

Oh my dear Sleepy Eyes,
Smile through the tears and sighs.
For you brighten someone’s dull day,
By the smile you throw that way.

Only the one who looks into your eyes,
Knows what the mouth so vehmently denies.
For they are feelings you can never hide,
Although it can be verbally so denied.

Oh dear Sleepy Eyes, please take care,
For I worry for you just everywhere.
For you always dwell in my heart and prayer,
As you have a special place to reside out there.
