Fair in skin and tone
Fair in all but heart
For there lies a great and terrible beauty

Honeyed words hide their spite
But as hard as they might
Flaws leak and reveal horrible plights

In all but soul to the contain grace
Each step as smooth as glass
But just as breakable

Though lies cannot escape their lips
Their woven tales will not slip
An ounce of truth

So heed my warnings
All who read
The Fair Folk are quite fair indeed

Beware beware beware
They capture you
They take you to their lairs

You will never be free
