The fast lunch as taught in Matthew 6.

The sky was clear, the sun was out,
My lunchtime had just started,
My stomach roared, my legs were sore,
And from my co-workers I had parted,
They’d asked me if I’d brought my lunch,
And I told them that I did,
But the lunch I brought was the Word of God,
And that from them I hid,
Because I’m told to fast in secret,
To get the great reward,
The treat I’ll get, comes from no man,
It comes straight from the Lord,
So next time if you’re fasting,
Remember God’s command,
That the Lord rewards you openly,
If you’ll hide it from all man.
