Sometimes nothing goes as planned. So you make the best of what you have.

The fates seem to be against me.

As I try so hard to write.

I haven’t written since September.

I think it is my right.

First I worked many long hours.

Some shifts I worked all night.

So I could take a two week vacation.

And celebrate my birthday night.

We had a great vacation.

Three days in Atlanta town.

We toured the Georgia Aquarium.

And saw all the sights around.

We came back with another week off.

I thought I would do some of that writing stuff.

But I caught a terrible head cold.

My head ached and I coughed and coughed.

Now I feel somewhat better.

And I only have two more days off.

I tried to print up some research material.

But my printer has gone all aloft.

So you see the fates are against me.

No fictional stories or articles today.

But I did come up with this neat poem.

So I guess I did do some writing today.

I’d love to be the sort of person who never plans but lets life take them where it will. Enjoyed reading how life is going for you :-)

Pam, I hope you are well and rested by now. It sounds as if you had an exciting vacation. Lucky you. We want to get up to the mountains while the leaves are colorful, but they wont be apt to last that long. We are dragging our feet.
