The favorite is known in the Chinese tradition as the person who is loved among many women when her husband has many wives. That is also called concubinism. It is particulary true in societies where there are more women than men and it is often due to a high rate of sugar intake among the population or too much exposure to sunlight.
There is no doubt that it is hard to sort
for example the peas which are inside
and then you have to peel the potatoe sort
of recipe that is done in the cold inside
country where you feel like eating in a port
waiting for the men to come inside
so that you can count in the near port
the money of the day to be outside
enjoying the day and having a eye on the port
so that tomorrow is always there outside
looking for the flowers to grow as red as the port
light signaling danger or green from inside
to welcome you again because of the perfume in the port
sort of lemon zeste sprinkled like sugar powered inside
