A poetic struggle of living life with grand mal seizures known as Epilepsy.

You have empowered my thoughts with sensations I do not want to know,

You have scarred me to a new level of uncertainty that seems to overflow;

I sit and wait for the worst is yet to come,

I awaken to pain in my body and the taste of blood on my tongue,

You came back once more to embrace my mind, body and soul,

You erase some of my precious memories every time you come,

Why can’t you leave and never return…

Being an epileptic is not a feeling, but the ruining of me with a life wondering concern.

    Those are some powerful words. I never realized just what a person with Epileptic fits goes through.
