The story of pegasus.
Pegasus the winged horse
Ferocious as can be
Pegasus the winged horse
Untamable is he.
Until the day Bellerophon
Tried to capture our friend
In order to fulfill a king’s request
And become Chimaera’s end.
But poor Bellerophon
At first did not succeed
Because poor Bellerophon
Couldn’t catch the winged steed.
Then the goddess Athena
Came to his aid
And gave him a magical bridle
To make the untamable tamed.
So Pegasus the winged horse,
Still ferocious as can be,
But Pegasus the winged horse,
Now tamed is he.
And then man and horse
Flew off as one
They fought the monstrous beast
And then the deed was done.
Pegasus the winged horse
Ferocious as can be
Pegasus the winged horse
An act of hubris set him free.
