Senseless actions aimed at one another

We scream and taunt and only end up resenting

Why can’t we show the love we so clearly feel

Why do we continue to hurt each other

Neither of us want it to end

We both regret things after they happen

We’re too stubborn, and too proud

We’re too overwhelmed

We need time to reconnect
