Stumbling through each day.
94 was the year I saw the light
The year I started learning wrong from right
People told me my bark was worse then my bite
But the way I see it I’m involved in a constant fight
I ain’t good with saying how I feel
So instead I don’t make a big deal
After all they say that wounds heal
But then you see kids all around the world can’t even afford 1 meal
Where I’m from I learn’t life does you no favours
We all have our allies and our saviours
But life has successes and failures
As of yet I don’t know what I am all I know is I’ve tried to silence the doubters and haters
Born in a place where nothing is easy
Too many thoughts locked in my mind it’s crazy
Yet everyday I thank the lord for watching over me
Rest in peace to the ones who have passed such as gramdad freddie
So welcome to life the constant fight
Where you either get lost or create a future that looks so damn bright
Where you have to sometimes dig your heels in, stick your heels in and hold on tight
And hopefully 1 day you will see the light
