The snow birds leave from out East and the Midwest to warmer climates.
They come from out East
And from the Midwest.
The Snow Birds arrive
In their SUV nests.
Some arrive in Florida
To the warmth and bright sun.
Others go to Arizona
Just to have some fun.
The Snow Birds leave the cold
To see relatives and friends.
They flock like geese
And cluck like hens.
Their plumage is
A colorful sight
Of T shirts and plaid shirts
And pastel stripes.
Swimming pools and beaches
Really do make the scene,
For our senior birds
And their rambunctious teens.
So spread your wings Snow Birds,
Leave your winter clothes behind.
It’s hot and so pleasant,
You’ll be feeling just fine.
