Mysteries in an English sonnet.

They gave to him a flower and they cried
Oh save our flower as we know you can
To care for flowers was not in his plan
But for the sake of all he gladly tried

And for this flower hopes and dreams began
One wonders of the wonders he applied
And for his care a love was the reply
Then when they claimed their flower such tears ran

Without the flower he had come to know
He didn’t know how painful was the dawn
And no one heard and no one seemed to care

He never knew that time could pass so slow
And then one day some trash he fell upon
And there she was his flower laying there

You wrote it nicely – no wonder the lady in the photo looks sad.

Beautiful poetry. So sad that so many times trash is really treasure and unfortunately so many times things that are treasured are really trash.
