A poem to occupy my time while being sick. New Year’s Day started out with a bang, and it’s still going strong.

Since New Year’s Day I’ve been sick

Became sick at my sister’s dinner party

Oh my, oh my

The New Year started with a bang of the flu

Doing more than ka-choo, ka-choo

I did see a doctor too

Fever, earache, and sore throat

Are enough to get the toughest goat?

Up all hours of the night

Sure don’t feel energetic enough

To fly a kite

Need lots of sleep

I beg my body

It’s time to count sheep

I have to go to work early in the morning

Shhhhhhh

If I only could

I sure would

Poor you, Jenny. I have just got over it myself and it does drain you. I hope you feel better soon.
