The theme of day and night, good and evil, unable to live side by side yet to eliminate one would be the destruction of all.
The Forsaken War
Black as the night, which falls over yee
And darkens the souls of victory
Who won in the battle?
The dawning of our lives,
And brought back the happiness
Of the people of the night
The shadows cross an image
That lightens the sky
With their graceful mercy
And glares of desire
Of the lost soul in sight
Drifting endlessly around
A budding flower, the light in the dark
A flicker of happiness, in a world so sad
And like the shadows, it seeks to survive
To be under victory, a glory found
Yet alas my spirit, if only you knew
To never doubt the power, this rose pursues
Two eternal powers, two forces alive
Can only seek the destruction of mankind
Ruthless power, cascading across
Their mission to seek, their aim to destroy
Yet all will be at peace, if one will prevent
The day and the night, from pursuing this Godforsaken fate
