I thought to myself, “What shall I do”?

I found a pound upon the floor
As I was walking to the door.
I picked it up and felt its weight
And thought, “yippee, this is great!”

I thought to myself, “What shall I do?”
“Maybe I’ll share it among my crew.”
Ten pence each means a chomp apiece
Plus the other dozen stuffed under each fleece

There is was, a reward to us all.
Just from the pound I found in the hall.
