Based on every day events when sooner or later we have to go to one, or they will go to yours.

The funeral is today

Time is pressing on

Getting ready with no delay

A stressful time for everyone.

The cars arrive outside

We are all dressed in black

A quick decision as we decide

Who is returning back?

This will be his last ride

As the coffin is lead away to the plot

The vicar say’s his prayer’s to say goodbye

Very popular with folk, there’s quite a lot.

Off into the cars we headed back home

People followed us back if they didn’t want to be alone

It all helps to get them through

With a few sandwiches and a drink or two.

Well done. Funerals are less sadl if people would celebrate the deceased’s life rather than mourn the death.

Did you guys know that Creamations are becoming more popular? It seems that alot of people are choosing creamations over the traditional funeral. Its not as costly and the ashes can be released anywhere. Now, I call that freedom…Good jOb, thanks for sharing
