Dedicated to my baby’s momma.

Seconds tick away filling up a minute;

minutes spill into an hour;

hours traverse mornings and nights;

thirty days will pass as months flip calendars;

eleven pages turned up brings us to a year.

Years will eventually witness decades disappear.

Following life’s pattern brings us to the brink of a century.

Looking back from this point may seem like an eternity.

An eternity that began the first second of you.

You being the era of Anno Ego.

Evidently, in our not so distant future,

time will seem so infinitesimal

it will be difficult to see the magnificence of older days.

Therefore, let’s not waste another minute

because each second is a chance to watch destiny unfolding.

So if you have an hour or two

I’ll show you my eternal view.

It resembles us growing older and looking back on now.

Now shall be known as the future of our time.
