About life, and how screwed up it is.

Life becomes difficult.
My eyes strain to adjust.
Am I seeing clearly,
Or clearly seeing?
The used to be about having fun.
The games have now blended.
I’ve started to run,
In life’s race of pretending.
All the rules have been broken,
So the people think they can win.
But how could that be, are you joking?
No one can ever win
In a world so lost
Every man for himself,
At all cost.
So we run,
We buy and spend,
Just know that one day
This all will end.
On earth we will all lose,
And that’s the way.
So now you choose,
Do you want to play?

Do we have an alternative? so I must say I want to play even if I will become a loser.
My claps for your philosophical poem.
It made me reflect a lot about life and death, thank you for sharing.

Our only alternative to being alive is of course death, however we have a choice in how we live! My poem, for me, is about the race to get money, money, money. I think our focus needs to be on what\’s really important in life…sure money can buy you things that you need, and there is nothing wrong with that…however when we start working non-stop and stop focusing on our family and helping others, and becoming greedy…no one wins!! Money is nice but you can\’t take it with you when you die! As long as you are living comfortably you should be comfortably living!

Wow. This is a really good poem. I love the message in it. A lot of people do spend too much time chasing money and not enought time living.
