A poem I wrote after studying a little bit of Christian mysticism.
Following the grassy hills and plains,
Weaving a tapestry; color is a endless idea here,
Grassy emerald, to the deep sky blue,
How much I wish you could see this,
How much I wish that I were standing here with you,
I am a single and true breeze running across this great tapestry,
I am a part of it and so it goes undisturbed,
Place your hand in the stream,
Feel the current take you far and deep,
To a place where mystical beings and fantastical creatures sleep,
Between the Tigris and the Euphrates,
Lies a place untouchable to Hades,
Where Adam met Eve,
Where the origins of time began,
A place in which time will never leave,
The gates dwell within,
The gates dwell within,
Can’t you see?
The gates are open,
This place, something you have always dreamed of,
You are the only one that can allow yourself in,
This place, always something you have known,
It is yours to have,
