Forgiveness is powerful if you use it. Forgiveness also take power to use it. Forgiveness is what everyone needs more of. The famous passage in the bible John 3:16 can be summed in one word forgiveness.
Words can be like swords
slaying men who think alone
bleeding souls laying under
crumbling stones
what gift can be treasured
in the shadows of hate
that can bridge two thrones
and pour happiness on its plate
dust lay on many men
that sealed up this gift
defeat of the heart
is where blood waters drip
if you wait to long
for your friend to fold
they may be ashes to ashes
before the ground gets cold
If you live in regret
in a world of I wish
your sorry will be to late
to catch the words you missed
forgiveness is a gift
you have to open to unfold
peaceful words from a friend
is like medicine to the soul
