She sits on my bike with her golden locks swaying in the air.
She sits on my bike with her golden locks swaying in the air,
And she talks and talks of some one who is so far away,
She talks of the days gone by and the days to come,
And how she hopes for him to come.
She talks and talks of how things have changed,
Of how she loves and how she loved,
And even the winds and the rains intent to hear,
Of all the dreams that they share.
She’s still on the bike, the lady with the lovely hair,
Lost in his thoughts who is so far away,
And all the rains falling from the sky,
Hope to hide the water of her eye.
She gets down from the bike, her home is near,
She looks so pretty, so I swear,
As I ride away into a night of gray,
She’s still lost in his thoughts who is so far away.
