This poem was inspired by the incredible colours down in Antarctica. My uncle went down there for a year and came back with some amazing photos of the glaciers and auroras. This is a perfect object and theme for a piece of creative writing.

 Sunset begins at midnight

Shades of purple and red embrace and caress the sky

Diffusion of the clouds and the colours

Emerging and fusing in a shade of sheer bliss

An icy glacier lies, silent and unseen

Reflecting and revealing colours of the aurora

Green, Purple, Blue…

Combined in a symphony of flavor for ones pallet

A wind blows through the desert

Gentle and delightfully chilling

The snow begins to blow off the glaciers

Little by little, flake by flake

No one sees the path ahead

A blizzard swarms around like a plague of locusts

The animals flee to the ocean’s arctic airs

No one is there, except silence

WOW! Your poetry is quite good, I read all of it and think you are quite talented! How old are you? Because some of it, could take a scholar to write!! Great job!
