A poem about a secret saviour.
Alone as he walks through the shadows of the night , seeking justice as it comes with a fight
he ponders of the crimes no matter how big or how small, whether it’s winter, summer, spring or fall
our hero responds to a dark hooded man robbing a house, in a flash he strikes, just like catching a mouse
then the man shivers and falls to his knees, as our hero prones him, before he tries to run or flee
so he puts him in handcuffs, as they are double locked, he looks at the time, on a tree shaped like a clock
the authoraties arrive with bright blue lights one by one, our hero has vanished, for his work is done
showing crime doesn’t pay, for our hero won the fight, and that is what, we call a very good night.
