The U.S.A. is not just any common creation of nationhood; it is an edifice of hope for others to emulate. The world may change its erstwhile course of democracy, but the Constitution formulated by the founding fathers of this country has not changed and remains unshakeable.

There was before
and there is now
a country — U.S.A. –
a country showing
why and how
it loses not its way.

There may be those
that may oppose,
its timely imperfections,
and there are those
that surely know
its heartfelt introspection.

The founding fathers
planned it all;
they left no stone unturned,
we can still hear
their clarion call
of freedom they had yearned.

There sense of liberty unique
was then unmatched
and strong;
their unjust grievances
they turned
into a joyful song!

They carried high
the torch of love
with banners
well -displayed
of triumph, not subjection,
with roles
so bravely played.

Theirs was a hard-fought battle,
a prelude to a birth;
a sacrifice to carve a place
for freedom on this Earth.

They knew full well
the struggles that
must follow
and the pain
that true democracy
would bring
time and time again.

The world may change
its erstwhile course,
and nations
go astray
on rules and principles
and laws,
but not
the U.S.A.
