Poem about the mean, old Grinch visit in Detroit.
Image via Wikipedia
The Grinch stopped in Detroit
For a visit one day.
Ah, high unemployment,
What more can I say?
The economy is dismal.
Transportation is a mess.
And the bridges are crumbling.
How much more can I be blessed?
The stores are empty.
No shoppers are around.
And foreclosed signs
Litter the ground.
Yes, there will be little of holiday cheer
When your old pal the Grinch
Stops by this year.
