A tool for good or evil.
Yes it would not shoot or fire
No matter how hard its owner tried
Because it was not the weapon fault
But the thoughts and mind behind

Its actions are controlled by others
Just cold hard steel with the ability to kill
With one important ingredient a murderous mind

So a gun by itself cannot give or take life alone
Only the knowledge and fear of others
The world in the distant future will determine this truth
As we long since departed will understand
Only love and peace will ensure life together
