A poem about the difficulty of letting a love go just to see them happy.

The hardest choice I ever will make,

love for granted I shall never take,

a soft touch,

meaning so much,

within my dream I hope to never wake.

The hardest choice I ever will say,

is to watch a love walk away,

tender and calm,

heart in her palm,

wishing only that they would stay.

The hardest choice I ever will breath,

down on both knees with an effortless ease,

tears on the face,

yet leaving no trace,

the heart I shall now begin to freeze.

The hardest choice I ever will allow,

confessing a love here and now,

setting it free,

hoping it happy,

and taking everything I am with it somehow.
