Poem about a very haunting night.

Image via Wikipedia

Darkness descended upon Hillbary Square.

A moonless night brought out the fear.

The ghosts of Hillbary were quite near.

Screams of the dead shook the Square.

Who’s there? Who’s there? Beware!

White glowing objects approaching fast.

Don’t laugh. Don’t laugh. Gasp!

“Death to all who walk the Square,”

Shouted the abominations, “Beware!”

And the street was empty.

Not a soul was in sight.

Tonight! Tonight! Take flight!

The ghosts screamed,

“No souls shall patrol;

Not on this night.

Sleep tight! Sleep tight!

Don’t let the ghosts

Chill you tonight!”
