It is now 2010.

What a spin it has been.

My wish is that

the new year

will be a happier year.

Memories made to hold dear

and remembered when

we are old and gray,

and I humbly pray

that people will start

treating each other better than before.

Have loving hearts for each other

instead of creating war.

We must learn to trust

one another, that is key,

and trying not to disagree.

There is a shortage these days

of people with hope.

This, making it hard to survive and cope.

It is kind of like rolling down

a slippery slope.

For the betterment of the land 

and its inhabitants for the new year

we need ~

Love, first and foremost,

Peace, without it we would be toast.

Trust, is the glue that holds things together.

Understanding, with it there is nothing we can’t weather.
