This kis a short story I wrote when I was 11 years old depicting the dangers of leaving a lit cigarette unattended.
Here is a mother and her baby girl,
She leaves the baby unattended,
With the cigarette in the ashtray, burning brightly,
The baby girl named Sarah, touched the cigarette very lightly,
it goes down like a tonne of bricks,
Hits the carpet and up it goes with only one more flame,
it could claim the baby girl with a name like Sarah-Jane,
Lucky her mother came just in time,
To save the baby Sarah,
I’m glad of that!
At least Sarah got to live,
And not get burned in the fire!
