This piece was inspired by a book by Norman Doidge called The Brain that Changes Itself. Think about this: our brains our able to make more synaptic connections than there are particles in the known universe!
The paralyses of the modern marvel most renowned for its astounding capacity to down volumes,
It’s the most complex, complicated device used in the universe,
Conversely applied precisely for its ability to simplify down to purpose.
It’s an organic instrument implemented to destroy and create,
And even in its current state of dismay,
It still manages to destroy out of decadent decline in action oriented processes,
It’s been found to have been used to different degrees in different corners of the world disturbing the order of entropy more than any other life supporting facility in known history,
Maybe it’s in a state of shock,
Stunned and stunted by beliefs in control outside its own spheres of the same,
Blame– assigned with fingers pointed outward and around where the top of the line device itself sits, waiting to be unleashed upon the world– is used to deprive it of all its prowess,
Powerless pandering pedantic peons pluck at rhetoric designed to dismantle the distinct and unassailable reality of a void of action.
Unaware or apathetically attaining a state of bliss through means of motionlessness unless you account for movement of lips that persist to utter words in fits of severe and unadulterated hopelessness,
This matter the marvel itself has difficulty reconciling against the obvious reality that control is given either through a recognition of another’s increased ability to define, utilize, and design the world to befit the needs of life, or through a lack of motivation to make any judgment on the issue,
This device is of a tissue,
And if it’s really all the same,
I’m gonna go ahead and say the device is the human brain.
