A parent’s wish for all of our children.

In the illusion of a sweet dream,
I am transported to a land where
the child is supreme!
In this land the scene is mild and serene.
There is no excuse for the abuse
suffered by the hand of man.
The child predator, the one who possesses the soul of stone, remains completely unknown.
On any given day there is no fear
of an imminent danger that lurks near;
for this land is sacred, safe and secure.
Out of the illusion of a sweet dream
witnessed in the deep sleep of night,
as I rise to the morning light,
I pray this to become known as the land
where the scene is mild and serene,
and the child is supreme
