This poem is a conversation between a tree and earth.Humans have come to chop a tree which has provided them food ,shade .The tree complains to earth about this fate.

The ever living Martyr

Child:

Mother Earth, I am grateful to you

For providing me Food and Shelter

My time has come

I have given them shade when they were tired

Gave them flowers

Gave them fruits

Couples sat under me

Kids played under me

Watched them, like my Children

Now, they have come

To kill me.

What did I do mother?

Mother:

Never fear my child

They lost their goodness ages ago

They may not make you a martyr

But one day will come

When they will learn from you….
