A poem written in response to the survival of theocracy.

Now, in a world enflamed and torn by hate,
I look upon each earthly citizen,
Sad for them all, that now may be too late
To save a world that’s already fallen,
Overtaken by those who wish them ill,
By those who would deny them of their rights,
By those who are driven by rage to kill
When fairest activists give up their fights;
How can a world of such ignorant fools,
Such absurdly conformist idiots,
Survive, when obscene piety still rules?
Despair consumes me as I sort all plots.
But then your voice answers, so strong, so sure,
And brings me hope that this world may endure.

    The world will only change when people want it too, so even when we think things maybe be hopeless that is when we really need to fight for what we believe in, because the “prize” is just around the corner.
