I dedicate this poem specifically to the Democratic Majority of the Congress of 2008 and all American’s suffering because of them, but it fits the Congress as a whole for the past at least four years 2004-2008 for the gross mismanagement, mishandling and abuse of power in a Decade.
The congress was coy
They addressed the toy
And without any regret’s
They saw to the issue of cigarettes
The fuel rises high
It cost more if you fly
They won’t reconstruct loans
But they’ll repossess homes
The government is busted
For the money they all lusted
While companies cut jobs
People flock to unemployment as mobs
Food poisoned and threatens to kill
The more expensive comes each bill
Those looking for the American Dream
Found instead they got reamed
As the Congress shakes hands in congratulations
They ignore the people’s plea in communications
The congress believes after their progress
They deserve a five week long recess
After all
The Congress was coy
They addressed the toy
And without regret’s
They saw to the issue of cigarettes
