Original work of poetry.
I’ve been told that this life is meaningless.
I’ve begun to believe it, myself.
There would be nothing to stop me from jumping off this cliff.
I can’t live in a life created for no reason.
But before I jump you ask for one last kiss.
I grant you what it is you want.
That’s when I realieve I love you to this day.
I walked down away from that cliff a changed man.
Life may be meaningless, but, by God, I’m going to find meaning to live.
