Love changes people.

Striving for the spectacular may cause

You to overlook and under appreciate the ordinary

The most spectacular events in life

Occur between the normalcies of our lives

A simple embrace or a smile on a baby’s face

We don’t always need amazing

It’s the little things over the vastness of time

That changes the landscape of our lives

Love is like a valley forming

It takes time for the cold to feel its way around

To rest instead of constantly moving

To give instead of resisting

If we let love take its natural course

It will traverse the highs and lows

And when it is done together

It’s pretty amazing

Absolutely! This is beautifully stated. We tend to overlook life’s little miracles.

The little things matter too, but people overlook that.

A lot of things matter to me.

These two philosophical and profound truths stand out for me:

Striving for the spectacular may cause
You to overlook and under appreciate the ordinary

    and

It’s the little things over the vastness of time
That changes the landscape of our lives

Well done, very well articulated and very true.
