The way in which men and women express their love is often very different, to the extent that the message does not always come through as clearly as they might expect.
Man love looks for a way to please
Gives a certain smile or a gentle tease,
Finds a job around that is over due,
It’s a man’s way of saying ‘I love you’
Man love works very hard each day,
He has mouths to feed and the bills to pay
When he comes back home he won’t ask for much
Just a home made meal and a loving touch.
A woman may not understand `
If his words are few - though his motives grand.
He may rarely say what she wants to hear
But his works of love ought to make it clear
Acts speak louder than words, they say
And perhaps a man wrote the phrase that way
Fort those words of love may be just a boast –
It’s the acts of love we should treasure most.
