A short song lyric I have written from my experience. Please do check it out!

source

The smell of the sun-baken grass,

Reminded us of the moment

That we were to experience,

In the last 30 seconds of 9th grade.

The outside world,

was waiting for us

behind the classroom doors.

In the last 30 second of 9th grade.

Our History teacher was waiting silently,

Her shiny face portrayed

a relieved, hopeful child,

In the last 30 seconds of 9th Grade.

And the school was resting quietly,

My dreamy eyes were

focused on the bright sunlight outside,

In the last 30 seconds of 9th grade.

The clock was ticking with a pride,

It was trying to prolong

the time of our adolescent lives,

In the last 30 seconds of 9th grade.

As the bell rang outside,

and instantly

the silence quickly dies.

In the last 30 seconds of 9th grade.

I hope you guys like this poem/lyrics.

Have a great summer!

I just finished 9th grade. It wasn’t as big of a deal as everybody was making it. I wasn’t sad or happy. It was weird.
