Stars so lustrous & bright

Expressed everything

yet so still  

It lightened my heart

Glowed my eyes

And gleamed my soul

Lost in my thoughts

I was sitting in silence & peace

then Came there the one

I always waited for

And he caught my eyes

Like he always does

After those tiny few steps

He stood in front of me

Knelt & whispered…

“I missed you”

With my hand in his

So beautiful moment it was

I could spend my whole life with

Tears in his eyes I could not stand

But neither did I stop that drop

When it fell

I made him rise

Held him high and we walked

Walked together in the heaven

Walked together in the mesmerizing plains

Walked together with the rhythm of life

Pebbles didn’t hurt

Darkness didn’t scare

Moonlight started to fade

But neither did he

Nor did I really care!

Stepped on every ups and downs

We got lost in the time

He then stopped & closed my eyes

Said nothing and asked to keep quite

I felt him for the moment

And in the next I did not

I waited … waited for long

Gave up at last and opened my eyes

What I saw made me scream

It is then, I realized

It was just my last night dream!!
