and you haven’t a clue

how much I really love you.

I have been going insane

trying to reach you,

but you won’t return my calls

which causes me to suffer pain.

I just don’t understand.

I suppose I never will

now that I sent you the letter,

but still,

it is for the better.

The letter was my only means

of reaching you.

I didn’t know what else to do.

I don’t know if you

will even read it, but I had to

at least say goodbye.

I just had to try.

I wanted you to know

that I am sorry that things

turned out this way

and I hope to see

you again someday.

no matter how many years go by

or wherever you decide to fly.

I don’t know when my heart

but time is supposed to heal

all wounds they say.
